5 YEARS OLD

In our Private Kindergarten the focus is to develop socially and emotionally and to continue to strengthen gross and fine motor skills. The goal is for your child to finish the year prepared for a kindergarten classroom. Students will be exposed to activities that enhance their knowledge of math, language arts, science, and social studies. Sign Language and Spanish will also be integrated into activities throughout the school year. Mastery of skills will be assessed using a variety of assessments. A portfolio will be kept to help track each student’s progress. Enrichment and remedial activities will be planned for students in need of an extra challenge or extra help.
